Sequential Turn-on of gates

Applies to: UNO, DUO and NEO (DNA) gates, which connect over Wi-Fi, and to G4 gates used in the same system as any of them. When a G4 is mixed with older gates, the whole system runs on Wi-Fi and this article applies. A G4-only system connects over SwiftAir and does not need this: see G4 timing system overview.

If you are experiencing issues when initially turning gates (Connection phase)

Please try the following

A couple of quick things to check

1. Ensure you have auto connect disabled. Read thisWifi Dropping out?

2. Try changing Wifi Channels Change your Wifi Channel

3. Lastly this may help.

   1. Create a single gate test.

   2. Connect to that gate1 (maybe put a small mark or sticker on it)

   3. Turn gate off.

   4. Open your new test 

      1. Turn on same gate1  and wait for it to connect as AP

      2. Sequentially turn other gates on, one at a time and let them, connect
