When do we use “Beam trigger off” ? Which are the differences between on and off?

The test designer ‘Beam trigger off’ is an automatic setting that is called when MOVE or  Depth of turn functions are requested.

In these tested the laser sensor is not required. It can also be manually set, but there is no reason to do so.

Setting to ‘OFF’ disables the laser sensor.
