Timing Gate Upgrade

Older UNO or G4 gates?

You can already run change of direction and agility drills. The problem was never the drills. It was WiFi.

SwiftAir replaces it with a radio built for the places WiFi falls over. It needs hardware inside the gate, so older gates have to come back to us. For some that is a quick fix. For older ones it is a full replacement, and where that is the case we will take up to 50% off the new gates.

The problem was always the WiFi

UNO and DUO have always been able to run change of direction and agility work. We are not selling you a drill you already have. What we are replacing is the link those drills depend on.

WiFi is the weak point. In a stadium full of phones, on a field near a tower, or across a campus saturated with high-power networks, it drops. A timing system you cannot trust in front of a squad is one you stop using.

SwiftAir is a purpose-built radio for exactly those conditions, and Phase 2 puts reaction and decision drills on it. A gate can be triggered more than once in a single drill, which is what a 5-10-5 needs, and SYNCRO picks between routes at the moment the drill starts, so the athlete cannot pre-plan it.

SwiftAir needs hardware inside the gate. Older UNO and G4 gates do not carry it, no firmware update adds it, and it is not something you can do on the field. The gates have to come back to base.

What the upgrade gets you

  • SwiftAir radio in place of WiFi, which is where the trouble almost always is
  • The COD and agility drills you already run, on a link that holds up in a packed stadium
  • Reaction and decision drills on SwiftAir, including 5-10-5 and routes chosen at the start of the run
  • Single or dual beam, with dual beam requiring both beams broken before a trigger
  • Everything that ships in future SwiftAir updates

Get your upgrade price

Takes about a minute. These are read by a human who cares.

A mandatory 12-month Swift Labs 2.0 subscription applies, billed as a separate line. Optional after year one.

The serial is on the label on the back of each gate. If you cannot find them, leave this blank and send it through later. We will still get back to you.

No obligation. We will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

What it costs depends on what you own

There is no single upgrade price, and we would rather say that than publish a number that turns out not to apply to you.

Some gates are a quick fix once they are back with us. Gates more than three or four years old generally need full replacement, and that is where the discount on new gates applies.

The serial number tells us which of those you are looking at. Send them through and we will come back with an exact figure for your system, not an estimate. If you are not sure what you own, send what you can find and we will work it out.

Swift Labs is part of the upgrade

Swift Labs 2.0 is required for the first 12 months and is charged separately. It renews at US$199 per gate, per year and is optional after year one. Your hardware keeps working either way, your results stay on the device and remain exportable, and analysis stops if you do not renew.

We quote it as its own line, never folded into the upgrade price, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Prices are set per currency and are not converted from exchange rates.
